In response to Freyaman's question....

DBK International is the US importer of the MAH product line. DBK International, located in Brooklyn, NY, maintains a dealer network in addition to selling direct at http://mahblades.com

In order to obtain the latest "Generation II" MAH blades, they must be purchased from one of these sources. Only Dual taper blades from the "generation I" series are available through other sources, such as Dino and Tom.

As the US importer, DBK International also maintains a field representative / team program through "Team MAH." This group includes sponsored pilots such as Henry Caldwell, Marcus Kim, and field reps such as John McNamara.

Dino Spadaccini, Tommy Silhan , and "TeamBob00 - USA Branch" are not affiliated in any way with Team MAH nor are they an authorized US dealer under DBK International. The source of their product is currently unconfirmed. We wish them luck in their venture, but felt a clarification was in order.

If anyone is interested in learning more about the true full line of MAH products, please PM or email us. Alternatively, visit our website at mahblades.com for more information. Visit us for more information on how you can become involved with Team MAH!!

Thank!!

Nice to have options like with the mah blades.

This is great to have muliti sources for the same products... no one will end up with a monopoly which will keep the prices reasonable and fair to all.

I love the G1 standard taper mah blades and can get them from Dino, heliproz, sluggo, and a few other places as well...

Also part of the team mah, but I guess its the "other" one....

Dino--this reply is from Shannon- heli flyer, not site admin. I noticed that you have in your signature "TEAM MAH USA", yet in a post above you state that you have no affilation w/ DBK and Team MAH. Can you please explain. It looks kind of like you are riding DBK's coat tails. Whats Up????

Thanks

They are initials for the company founders - overseas. The name is pronounced as initials. 'M' 'A' 'H'

Team Mah,

If the initials come from the company founders then where are the different Mah blades made......What I am wondering is-if there are two separate Mah blades, -- Who is selling the blades made by the original Mah company...

Thanks

Charles,

There are not TWO manufacturers. All MAH product is manufactured overseas in the Ukraine. Right now, there are simply multiple sources.

DBK International imports the blade from the Ukraine into the United States. In addition, DBK also has created, funded, and supported the original Team MAH. Henry Caldwell, Marcus Kim, Kevin Ellison, John McNamara, and Augusto are just some recognized members of this group.

DBK International is the exclusive source of MAH Generation II product. However, there is now another importation source of older and standard product outside the confines of Generation II main blades. THis source's origins are outside the borders of the United States.

Strangely enough, this other source has recently created their own "Team MAH" and have further proceeded to attach the suffix "USA" to the team name - despite the importation origin of their product.

We hope this answers your question.

Ok, here we go again, First I am a distributor of the MAH line of blades here in the states just the same as DBK the only difference is I have the G-1 one line of main blades where Dimity DBK and team mah only have the g-2 line which Dimity reworked to have a 10mm taper. We both are in the New York area me being in Westchester county operating out of my own business. Dimity is out of Brooklyn thats all I know. Now about me riding his coat tails that is dead wrong I am starting up my own team pilots under team mah usa there is a big different between the two of us, if I gave the impressions of riding someone's I would never do that. The problem lies in the brand name both blades are made in the same place. My goal is not to divided the product, but people like choices and having two teams with two different blades will work because there many different flying styles. Yes DBK has its factory pilots, and TEAM MAH USA will to. If people are having a problem with this they shouldn't. In closing I will say this once again I only handle the G-1 which is the original line the g-2 line is DBK's line I hope this clears the air, for the time being I have removed the TEAM MAH USA from my sign off until we straight out the mess I hope this sets the record straight for every one.

Interesting, if barely readable.

DBK is the distributor for G1 AND G2 and has been all along.

Dino, seems you were asking questions about "how MAH was" last sept. on RR. funny how its DBK that comes up as the product source.

I would be most interested if Team MAH "USA" even knows the name of the Owner of the company?

Have you ever spoken to him?

DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO HE IS? ........... I DO. I had dinner with him last week.

any questions....email me.

Sounds Like a Bunch of Crap to me.....
I know for a Fact Dimity & DBK is the Original Importer-distributor-tester-ambassador- and promoter ..and all around Good Guy for "MAH" Blades and Team MAH is His creation and concept......
I Have read the replies in this forum and First No-One is going to deny anyone for starting up the OWN venture-that is the American way.....
BUT! It is a Low down Piece of Sh%t that tries to copy and Counterfeit another Mans Hard work....
Dino-Don't know you...But I wish you well if your heart is True, I will suggest you Get your Own Individual act together...
That way if you do succeed it will not be confused with anyone else:)

It’s funny to see now that I am throwing my hat in the ring in the heli business that all these people out here have an opinion. The bottom line was I asked Baja 170 for some ad space and would give up a set of blades 555mm and 105mm tails and now its everyone’s business.
I don’t see anyone out here coming up with the cash to put the product in place but everyone has an opinion, that’s fine. Whether DBK has the G-1 or not I really don’t care. This all started when I asked for ad space. If what I was offering is not good enough and let me know what was. Now I have H to C putting in his two cents.
This is a business boy and you all are out in left field with this one now. If that’s the case then how come v blades and sab and rotor tech etc. don’t deal with one person.
It’s about choices and market share. McDonald’s does not have one store do they? Your loyalty to Dimity is nice, the bottom line is www.eastcoastextremehelis.com is here to stay and I will have the MAH line and many others coming. It’s about choices and if you want to deal with me please do so, if not, no problem you will have many other sources like heliproz to get MAH besides me or DBK. In closing, I see this talk forum really works. If Shannon or Baja need talk to me please feel free to pm me and I will forward my info sorry that my last post was not clear some

I think it is great to have choices and opportunities. I was just a little put off by the similarity of your "TEAM" name to the one DBK has been using for some time. I think it is important to build your business yourself and not "associate" it w/ an already established one, that you have nothing to do with. Thank you for changing your signature- it will clear up a lot of confusion. We want choices--it's the American way. :D

Not coming up with the cash? Are you joking?

1) Dmitry has invested thousands of dollars into the molds for the blades...have you??????

2) I think Henry's "2 cents" is worth at least 1k

3) I dont see anyone else distributing V blades to retailers EXCEPT VIC HIMSELF!

4) As for it all starting with your "quest" for ad space, where is the ad? DBK has a paid ad on RR, and a paid ad on HF.

(4/13/04 - all of a sudden...there is an ad.)

5) Your damn right there is an "opinion" when you are bringing the product accross the border from Canada(Sluggo) into the US with no regard of the consequences to the US market, and the US retailers DBK sells to. That would include Miniature Aircraft, Zooms Hobbies, MTA hobbies, just to name a few.

6) You want to sell blades? Go ahead and design one. Make a mold. Test it. Produce it. Sell it.
DBK is not going to sit on the sidelines and watch the product get dumped on the US market through an underground "team" pipeline from Ontario to Westchester NY. That is not the way to do business.

I feel the same way as Shannon. Dmitry has been around a long time, everybody knows him as "the MAH dude". He has helped supply a lot of people with great blades at affordable prices, and is very well know. That is how he is. Then when someone else comes in that I don't know and calls themselves what I have know Dmitry to be for years, it makes me a little bit skeptical. Nothing personal against you Dino. It is just weird and my gut feeling says wait a minute here what is up???
