Hello all:noteworthy
What are the size limitations for cell sizes in the Hurri
I have a flightpower EVE30 6S1P 3200mah. And it is one tight fit.
I want to order some more 6S packs, But I thought I would ask all you Gurus on here there best advice and experance.
Thanks in advance

It depends on which frame you have - I have the standard plastic frame and you are pretty much limited to 2 x 3S batteries. Some of the CF frames give more flexibility for packs.
Cheers,
Mike.

Yes I do have the plastic frames.
I know it makes a bit of differance as too the frame one has. But I was asking everyone expreance for the best pack to use.
I also have the 50amp Gaui ESC and the Gaui 1100kv red motor.

Haven't see a lot of people running 6s packs.....most are using the 3s X 2 confing...so you may not get tons of replies.
If you can fit your Evos under there now....I would get the dimensions and do a little research......I know Hobby Lobby gives the specs for polyquest and Thunderpowers...
checks other websites and see which lipos fit into the dimensions you
"know" have already fit.....
You may also want to check out the frames available, as that may make a difference on which battery you buy now....should you decide to upgrade frames at a later date.
I'm running plyquest 3300's X 2 packs and I think it's a snug fit as it is...some people "shoehorn" 4500 packs in there also.
I just can't bring myself to buying the 6s packs.....they seem so expensive.

I'm runing two Zippy-H 3300 3S packs, those fit nicely on a plastic frame. 7-8min of flying time with a Z20-980 with 15/50/19/61 gears.

anyone who gets squeamish stop reading now.....hey bro i run a 6s gaui pack(143mm by 45mm by 44mm) and you gotta laugh their own battery doesn't really fit.so first you make up two blocks out of plastic or alloy
about 24 by 15 by 6 or 8 mm.you put one in your frame in front of the motor mount just behind the front main frame bolt drill thru the frame into the block on each side and screw it in. one screw each side should be cool.take out your motor and take off your esc mount. then get a belt sander(you were warned) and sand the top battery mount evenly.take off shitloads.the reinforced edge on the top of my battery mount is only about a mill maybe a mill and a half thick now.i also dropped the angle so it sits a bit lower at the back. almost to the point of exposing the front frame bolt which doesn't matter cause you've just reinforced behind it.your 6s pack now fits just fine.take the other block you made up and fix it in between the pitch and elevator levers making sure the motor clears it. this stiffens up your frame by heaps.i put velcro on my mount and battery so the battery can't slip back and mount my battery about 5mm infront of the motor tho my motor runs stone cold(ha ha) don't know if this would be a go if your motor gets hot.balance is perfect with tail servo in frames.and for you 3d guns out there it means the cg height is central which gives you an insane roll rate(personally wouldn't notice due to the fact that i'd be crashing) and a way stiffer frame.if ya want pics pm me and i'll email them to ya if you want to post them all good. now would be a good time for posting pics for idiots thread......

oh yeah..... for the frame stiffner (is that a word) behind the motor use two screws per side to help with twisting and my battery i did the mount mod for is a 6s 3300 22c gaui pack that now fits just fine......
