Has anybody got the Esky HH gyro working properly with the DX6i? If so what gyro settings do you use on the Tx?

Oh no, not that one again!!! Alastair, I tried everything to sort this out on other threads, and was so successful that i am back to using the rate gyro again!!!!! If ANYONE has a solution to this, then I too would be interested.

:arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg::arggg:: arggg:
The Trex is all ready to go but the gyro is being a real pig! Might just buy a Logictech 6100T!

:) I have finally got this working!!!!
It suddenly dawned on me that the tail servo on the Trex is on the oppisite side of the boom to the Belt DOH! I flipped the gyro and it started to react a bit more rationally. A bit of shifting the servo up and down the boom until there was no tail drift in rate mode. Switched to HH mode and the tail held - as well as the Esky HH gyro can be expeted to hold that is.
Not sure if this the same problem that you are having Mike but this is what fixed my problem. I was begining to think the gyro has damaged when I crashed the Belt.

On a different note - my Beltrex has flown again!!! Copterx tail [nice] and pEsky head still, and new DTS mod. Very smooth she was too. Need to fine tune the servos etc. I reckon that I had a duff gyro. What settings have you used in the DX6i? What is the gain setting on the gyro?
:cheers

I have the gain on the gyro all the way up. The gyro settings on my Tx are:
Rate SW-GYRO
0: 25.0%
1: 90.0%
I think that I still need to do a bit of fine tuning as the tail still moves a bit, but I don't know if I will be able to get it any better using the Esky HH gyro. Still my get a Ligictech 2100T or a Futaba GY401.
The heli is flyable but I would like the tail to but a bit more solid until I bit a more confident.
