I have a blade cp pro with a 90 gyro that Ive had for about a year, I have never gotten it to fly with the new gyro, all of a sudden it will go full left (tail right), and no input from the transmitter wil affect it , I have the gain on the 3n1 turned all the way down I have the remote gain set on 100 and the gyro set full clockwise (have tried it at many other settings) with this setting you would think I would have mucho tail wag, but I have none, I am so frustrated with this thing I just want to throw it away, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine does the same thing as you mentioned, I don't have a fix for you but the direct tail drive mod I heard is the best for the BCPP.
One good website is http://www.bladecprepair.com/smf/index.php
There are people on that site that just love the BCPP, don't tell them I told you so!!
Thanks

Put an extra Canopy grommet or some of the clear tubing on the Tail rotor Shaft. Probably what is happeneing, is that the Tail rotor is coming loose, just enough to not produce thrust it you put something to hold the blades in the gear a little better it might fix the problem. That is what I did when it was happening to mine and that fixed it, until I upgraded to the B-400.

well I put a new tail rotor motor on last night and flew it around the house and took it to work and flew it, for a total of about 4 flights, everything was doing good, then all of a suden no tail rotor control, just like before....... do I have to replace the tail rotor every time I charge the batt? back to hating my blade cp pro... I think its time for a little target practice

sounds like the esc is going bad
letting too much power go to the tail motor
are you using a gyro
well you can alway upgrade that thing to the belt version

Blade CP & CPP's are notorious for burning tail motors:arggg: Just get used to replacing them every 10 flights, more or less. Maybe the new CP Pro2 DD tail motors will hold up better. Myself, I just pluncked down the $90 for a brushless tail motor and although I'm still testing it out, it is awesome. I had to put about $325 and many hours into my CP Pro to get to fly right and even then, it's a lame duck when up against my Rex450SE V2.
But I still love the little CPP, don't know why, just do:dontknow

My friend had the same problem with his one. We went to the park and his did the same thing so many times that the last time we went he said f@@@ it already and full throttled it to the sky it went pritty high then came crashing down. i fell to the ground LOL and could not stop LOL then he walked to his truck and flew it in the bed of the truck from about 10ft away.

I wouldn't suggest throwing it away, someone may want it for salvage parts. Don't get frustrated, all helis are not that bad, and are actually easier to fly. Look at some of the threads where people finally upgraded and quit throwing money at Eflite. Do some research, and buy something a little more noteworthy, you will be amazed at how much better they fly.
Oh yeah, it only took me about a month !

chashelicop : Im not frustrated at the sport, Ive had allot of other helis, including two other blade cps, venom night ranger, e sky belt cp, jr venture 30, and raptor 90 sc (my personal favorite), Im just talking about being tired of throwing money at this blade cp and getting no results. I love the sport just not the blade cp

Shelve it and never fly it again. the g90 gyro is just another rebadged telebee gyro, they tend to all of a sudden just let go and let the heli spin out and causing a crash. My brother and I both learned that the hard way. Even with a nice direct drive setup the G90 would still just stop working at random times.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame the G90 gyro, I think the fault to be in the tail motor. I have 10 flights in so far with the brushless tail motor upgrade from CenterStick and the 90 gyro is holding OK, not like a 401 I'm sure, but OK. When I flew with a stock tail motor it was always kicking out on me.
