Is their a way to fix the servo rods so you don't have to drill the holes off centre on the sevo horns. Just looks like a pain to get right and is stopping me buying a 550 at this moment.
Thanks,
John Au.

yes there is... buy the CNC pitch and roll arms as well as the CNC elevator arms. no offset needed.

John, there are extra holes on the arms that are 180 degrees apart. As I am impatient and didnt have the parts on hand to go with the slightly offset arms I went with 180 degrees apart (just move the one ball to the other hole on the bellcrank in the heli). So far I have not noticed any ill effects and my frame isnt twisting or anything funny. I am sure there is a reason technically for the offsets but for my sport flying I havent had any issues.

while you can do that with the pitch and roll bellcranks, you can't do that with the elevator lever.. that's why it's best to replace all 3 with the CNC ones... or do like I did.,.. get these from readyheli

for Futaba servos http://www.readyheli.com/Custom_Heli_Parts_Futaba_Carbon_Fiber_Servo_Doub_p/chp-g010.htm

I've heard from braking plastic levers even when they were set-up right. I really would exchange them! If you're not setting up with offset you'll have bending. Take one side off and measure the difference. You'll see that there's a difference especially at the extreme positions. I wouldn't risk my Hurri for something like that...
