First, let me say your results may vary.
Now on to business. I got it from ReadyHeli today (ya baby!) and tore into the rebuild. It will take some tinkering as you have to install the new CF plate that accomodates the tail gear at the motor pinoin. Took about an hour to install. Quality seems ok, on par with the rest of the Gaui 200 stuff. I opted for the 15/10t pinion for a faster tail and better response. I'm no 3d pilot but I do fly the doo doo out of these little buggers.
The good stuff: :clappp
Smooth! No more vibrating tail fin.
Very little slop if any.
Quiet, first time I've heard the Gaui 200 blades "popping" very cool sound
Better response than the belt (maybe the 15/10t pinion?).
No more belt !!!!
The bad stuff:
I have to spend another $100 for my other Gaui 200's.
On another note, I recieved two FG canopies and a couple pairs of the canopy mounts. FG canopy is very nice and gives the 200 that much needed quality look of it's bigger cousins. Paint is good. It gets rid of that anoying seem down the middle. Canopy mounts are very nice. I've been using the 450 mounts and there nice too but the Gaui mounts make it a little more streamlined.
I'd definately recommend all three upgrades. Especialy the TT. I'll have to wait and see how it hold's up in a crash as I only got 3 packs on it today. If you have any questions that the other threads havent answered please post them up!
