My plan is a lightweight 4S set-up. I have several 4s4000 packs already. I have a Z20-1500 already also. Has anyone used that combo? I am not looking for all out crazy 3D power. Just a nice flying heli.

you might want to think about shortening the boom and running 425's like the new Logo 400. That will get you more spiritied performance for your 4S packs. Otherwise you're going to have short flight times.

Not familiar with a Z20... is it up to the task ? My L-10 uses a Z30-1110 w/23 T and 515mm blades, 4s5400 E-Power Lipo and I get 10 minutes of hovering/general flying using < 80% charge. The Lipos only get warm, the motor runs the same or cooler, depending on ambient temps. This is a very light setup and performs well (I don't do 3D).

The reason I question the Z20... The Z30 is recommended for 4s Lipo to 6s Lipo even in hot climates. Cooling can be difficult in a heli. You certainly don't want a motor that is overloaded or has no room for growth.

The Z 20 is 66gms lighter than a Z30. The Z 20 is for 4s only. It should work.

This is a nice building heli. Tolerances are tight. I am waiting for servo horns from Tower. Cyclic will be HS5085MG.

Boy, Do I hate the 2mm regular flathead screws in the kit. Twisted one off. Now I need a new mixing arm. I threw all the 2mm flatheads away. They do not belong on a Heli. I will replace them all with hexheads.
