Default Canopy and the Align 6S 2600

So what's the deal with the Align 6s 2600?

Is anyone able to fit the Canopy (with the bottom lip into the main frame) with this lipo installed?

Compared to the FP Evolite v2 2500, this Lipo looks like a monster!

Mine fits with no problem. My first canopy did seem a bit tighter than my second. I wonder if you lined up ten canopies together how close they all would be?

I think I just neede to learn the trick to it. At first, it would not fir with dual Hyperion 2500s. After some fenagling, it fits just fine.

I do suggest notching the canopy near the aileron and pitch links. It's a close fit and can bind in mid-air.

Mine fits like it was made for it! It did take a little time the first time to see just how to align it, so it would fit.

I'm using the 2500 mah Align 6s 25c. Dont know if there are 2600 mah ? but. The 2500 do fit without modifications. Just put the upper side of the lipo on the center line of the canopy bolts. And it should work.

It a tight fit but it does fit

My Align 25C 2600 fits fine, mounted flat (not on the side/ends of the cell packs).

Ok, I must have been drunk or something... It does fit! The very top of the pack (closest to the shaft) touches the canopy but aside from that there is enough clearance for ventilation.

Of course everyone is checking balance correct? Its not just where the battery fits. The heli needs to be balanced with the battery in that location. Mine so happens to balance and I have room to move my Align 6S 2500 up and down.

Yeah I had mine in w/ just the velcro strap to see just where to put it! Balanced it and it fits the canopy just right!
