Hi Darkheli,
I have not tried that specific product but one very similar and the trouble was that it captured 'everything' on the image...IE camera settings. Seemed to effect the resolution too.
If you're just looking to see what the camera is seeing on your laptop...but still record images direct to the camera it would work well for that.
Again...the one I had was not exactly the same...this one may be different.

That shouldenable you to capture downlink information to your laptop, but I have never used that device.

That will probably work - I use an EasyCap USB capture device - $30 on eBay, and it works great.

are you deadset on it being your laptop? i found one of those back-of-the-seat DVD monitors on overstock.com for $30 a while back. i've got the entire downlink RX, a small SLA battery for power, and the monitor mounted up in an extra align trex 450 case i had sitting around.

What are you using for memory to capture the video if the DVD is just a monitor?

Why would you want to capture the video? The quality of what is downloaded is nowhere near good enough even for Youtube. Normally the capture is done in the air into a digital camera or camcorder.
