I need some help making the final decisions on the setup of the heli that will be used for both aerial photo and video.

The equipment that I'll be using is a Canon 40D for the photo work and a Panasonic HVX200 for the video footage.

I've decided that I'm going with the AirFoilPro1 mount.

But I can't decide which helicopter will be the better choice as dedicated camera ship.
The 'Bergen Intrepid Gas EB' or the 'Century Predator Gasser Condor NX'.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I cannot speak for the Predator, but as far as the Bergen, you can expect a very good heli with excellent customer service. I have 1 Bergen and just ordered my second.

I can speak from experience here in saying that I had a friend who had the Predator for his cameraship and he was a FULL throttle/FULL pitch just to maintain altitude when we took some pictures at Boreal ski resort a few years ago. It just simply didn't swing enough blade nor did it have the power. He was lifting an HCS Broadcast 360 mount and a Canon Rebel DSLR camera.

I bought a Bergen Intrepid EB based on that experience and other factors and had TONS of lifting power. Those 810mm blades are lifters on that bird!

My vote is for the Bergen.

I'm not sure if you want to base your selection on a single example. There are alot of folks that don't set their birds up correctly, usually it's not the bird its the person setting it up. These birds are all pretty well engineered. However, I can tell you Bergen EB is a great AP bird, with very, very good cutomer service.(I'm 500 flights into mine). But, I've never seen a condor, to be fair.
