As the title says.... Will increasing the head speed / less pitch using the top left dial on the stock Belt CP controller, that's turing it CCW view from top, makes any changes in the tail?
I read somewhere that more headspeed will help holding the tail in place?

BTW, I have the ESky 0704A HH gyro, which I do not see any difference at all since I am still crawling on floors, but sometimes the tail stay put when off the ground and at time it is all over the place at initial spinning up. TIA..!:)

Yes higher headspeed gives you more stability and also allows tail blades to work more efficiently so you will have better tail control.

Initial spin up the gyro cannot hold the tail due to the torque . this is normal.. put some surgical tubing on the skids to stop it from sliding/spinning around during those moments.

ok, thanks. But I have more questions about the tail..... with HH gyro mode on, why is it the tail tends to move continuously to the direction you alter the tail? I mean.. I was hopping on the floor and the tail got turned right so I just counter it by moving stick to left, till the tail is straight I left the stick at neutral, but the tail go on.....! I have to back it to right again to stop the left creep. Is this how HH gyro suppose to work?

No you need to adjust either the trim so that the tail holds where you put it or slide the servo on the boom.

The right way to do it is to put the HH gyro in Rate mode and keep trims at center and move the tail servo up/down the boom until the tail holds solid (with you off the ground that is not scooting around) then once you have that then turn on headhold mode.

Got it..! Thanks.... will post after I try it outside.... little hover hopefully before trimming any tail :)

I Got it RIGHT this time......!

After fighting to set up this ESky 0704A gyro, finally now the tail holds...! I did my first short hovering ......!:lolol Thanks for all the help here..!

Actually, I did set the HH gyro not by setting in the rate mode, even if in the rate mode the tail holds, when you switch to HH mode, the servo will creep and tail go all crazy again.
I followed someone's method here, first switch from rate to HH mode, look at which way the servo creeps, then switch back to rate mode and trim the rudder servo to the opposite of the creeping action, flipto HH mode again. I do this several times untill the servo stay put whenever flipping from rate to HH mode.
Then I power up the heli, and adjust the servo moving it up and down the boom to get the tail to stay...... whooola.......! Solid tail..!;)

I have another question though.. the heli drop down from hover, I mean it bop up and down previously. I centered all the servos horns and arms, set the swash level, and get even +8 -8 when idle up and throttle stick at center and check my pitch.... now it's gone...! What is the cause of this bobing / jumping up and downI still wonder myself...?

And for any newbies who are still learning and reading this ; Do not start learning to fly until the set up of the heli is 100% right..! I have been trying without progress with bad set up and learn nothing but fixing broken parts..
One of my mistake is I set my rudder servo back even with the tail boom holder box, this make the link rod twist and i couldn't get full rudder control....I have no idea of this untill I saw someone's set up to get the rod parallel to the boom, I knock myself on the head when I notice mine is all twisted...:wow2:

Congrats :)

in headhold mode though when rotors are not turning the servo will always creep towards the front of the heli, as its setting itself up for the torque of the blades on spoolup.
