Hi, I have a stratus, and during an auto I turned the throttle hold off. The engine went to a full throttle. It cuased the Heli to do a piro. When I landed I noticed the clutch is partially ingaged, making the blades to turn on idle. what should I do to fix that. Thanks
PS. the clutch is not slipping.

I would reckon you need a new shoe assy and liner , and maybe lessons on autoes ????

Sounds like you may have sprung the shoes on the clutch. Going to full throttle as you bail out of an auto-rotation is not exactly nice on the clutch and clutch bell.
It may wear the liner a little over the next couple of flights and then it will probably not catch when it is idling. With the 90 size engines, it is important to keep the tolerances between the clutch and clutch lining as close as possible. As close as possible without the clutch trying to engage when the engine is idling.
Try lowering the idle as much as you can.
If you can't do that, then fly the heli a few flights and see if it gets better.

You the auto master Peter? What is a "shoe assy"? Is that what us dummys call a clutch?
It happens Rada. Good question and good answer David.

Thank you guys for the reply. I guess I'll fly the baby the way it is as David suggested. Thanks again.

Hi Big Dee, John Garst has the only Pipe and so far so good.
I try to keep it simple.
Let us know what you find Rada when you fly it.

HI Baja,
I flew it a few times. Except for the idling ingagment, I don't see any problems.
