Hi,
I have A Fury Extreme that has no sings of flight performance differnce, but have noticed I now can teater the head just a bit, almost as though the dampners are shot?? But usually I can tell when to change by flight performance? I have checked all the bolts to make sure everything was tight, and also the bearing, but all still good. And it flys just like when it was new, but I am kinda worried about boom stikes? I have been flying it like this and no signs yet, anyone else have this kind of warnout signs with no flight difference? I appreciate it! Thanks

If you do replace them, what the 3D guys I fly with are running is 2 of the HARD 2 white dot dampeners on each side of the thead. Yes it is different than the manual, but that is what all the hard 3D guys I fly with run.

Just a quick side note... I just bought some of the 60d dampners (0844-8) and they didn't have any dots on them at all. I have no idea what to think about that other than "you can't always tell by the dots."

You bought the "No Dot" That is what came with my Spectra G. There are a variet of dots to signify the hardness. I am not sure what is what exactly but I think the 90's are the 2 white dot but not 100% sure. The dots have changed not to long ago as well because I have some really soft 2 white dot as well that have been in my tool box for a couple of years. I also ahve soem 2 yellow dot that are soft. It is confusing to me to Mark.

Two white dots = 90 durometer
one white dot = 80 durometer
No Dot = 70 durometer
Two Yellow dots = 60 durometer
one yellow dot = 50 durometer
New one piece dampeners = 90 durometer

Put the 2 dot 90 Durometer+ 1 mm shim each side, works great in hard 3D.

Just get the new one piece dampeners. They work great. They keep the blade axle in a better position than the oring style dampeners.
They are 90 durometer and everything comes with them that is needed. Simplier to install also.
