I am using a GSR 260 for aerial video/photography and I was thinking about switching to turbine mainly due to the noise factor.

I currently get about 30 minutes flight time on the GSR and it costs about $1.50 per hour for the fuel. There is very little maintenance involved. There is also a slight vibration issue with the the GSR and what I have seen, the turbine is a very smooth machine.

I would be keen to get some feedback from the experts here as to the benefits of switching from gas to turbine for AP work.

You will find the turbine much easier to deal with once you get use to them, I still use the gassers for some things but whenever I can I prefer to use my Bergen Observer Turbine
