Yeah, they seem to be few and far between in that area. I saw some guys flying on the North side of Ft. Collins one day and I know that there are a few in Gillette, but nothing I know of in Cheyenne. Those are both a little too far for a friendly day of flying. Good luck with that one...

edit: Actually, there is a club listed on S. Greeley Hwy (85), just South of Terry Ranch road (South side of Cheyenne), called the Cheyenne Hill Hoppers that might not be too far from you.

Did you look at the 'HF Locator' featured on the site? http://www.helifreak.com/vbgooglemapme.php

anyone can add their location. I've not flown here, but I've driven by the Field in N Ft. Collins, and I understand Loveland LoveAir club is pretty good.

I'm in Longmont, so equidistant south of those two compared to Cheyanne, but they're still the closer lg heli population to me.

and this site has pretty good club listings:
Wyoming: http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/wyoming-rc-airplane-clubs.html
Colorado: http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/colorado-rc-airplane-clubs.html

hope that's more helpful than frustrating.

I'm in Cheyenne and would like to find some others that fly RC heli's. I just got a Blade CX-2 that I play with indoors. But would really enjoy finding a mentor with experience in RC heli's to help guide me in the process of moving up to CPPM heli's. Maybe even Fort Collins as I'm using Hobbeytown now for purchases and info.
