Hello All,

My loss is your gain: I've had a small stroke and now have double vision. Am switching to Blimp operation for my AP Biz. Have used my Bergen Observer to good effect for several months, but I need something simpler for my aerial platform. I'm only the 3rd owner; 1st was State of Colorado Hwy Patrol (think they used it for search-and-rescue), 2nd was an AP Pro in Hawaii (BungeeMike is his handle here). I have not crashed it, or even had a hard landing (had a super pilot). Rebuilt the tail rotor from a prior injury, and, in the words of my pilot, "it flies like a champ." Due to its weight and ample lift coefficients, it's rock solid in winds up to 25 MPH. This bird has a very large lifting capability, swinging V2 3D 740 mm blades (plus a backup pair of brand-new blades I'll include); if you used flat-sided blades it would lift even more. Also have extra flybar, boom & tail rotor belt. It has the Bergie torpedo pipe and a modified Hanson engine, generates lots of HP w/ no engine exhaust trail when using the right oil. If you're a newbie to AP and/or to gassers, I'll be happy to assist w/ setup by phone, and of course there's always the very helpful crew at http://www.bergenrc.com. Scott Bergen, his Dad and Mom give the very best customer service around, this is a big confidence-building factor to buying a genuine Bergie. Mine is the original Observer, completely identical to the current Observer EB ("Extended Boom"), which you can check out here: http://www.bergenrc.com/Observer.php. All you'll need are the batteries; the RX is set up for Spektrum, or if you want me to take that off and give a small discount, that's OK too. My Sony DSC-R1 camera in the pictures is not included, unless you want to make me an offer so you'll be totally turnkey w/ this system! I am going to keep my complete video downlink system to use on my blimp, but again, if you want it turnkey, make me an offer and I can leave it on the bird. This D/L system is top-drawer quality, it even comes w/ 3-D Eyeglasses as the monitor, w/ sun shade and stereo earphones (also works great for video games). Call me or write w/ questions: 843.442.1397 dunkmeister@sc.rr.com. Buyer pays for prof. crating + shipping. New, the Observer runs $3,500 tax and frt included; you can snag mine for $1,700. Will accept PayPal (net purchase price) but prefer Postal Money Order or wire transfer. Thanks and happy flying!:noteworthy

$1700!! Hell of a deal, even for an Original Belt Drive Observer!!

FYI, Parts are still available, we will still support this bird for whoever gets it.

I know they don't a 'stroke' emoticon, but somehow the winking smiley doesn't seema appropriate. I hope either you were not serious or that you are O.K.
