i now have 50 or so flights on my logo600. i thought i would check out and reapply grease to the thrust bearings when i found that the main blade bolts are now slightly u shaped. i thought it was odd seeing how they were straight when i put them in. i am only running a 2100 headspeed. i now am afraid to replace them with stock mikado ones for fear of them doing the same thing. anyone know of a good supplier for some hardened bolts?

Align P/N H60158T has two partially threaded M4 x27 socket head screws and M4 stop nuts for $2.95 per pack. Pack also contains 2 M3 x 22 which you can throw in your spare parts box. The M4 bolts appear to be the same as the bolts that come with the T-Rex 600 blade holders. Been using them ever since I discovered the same problem with my Logo 500 3D turning only 2200 RPM blade speed. These bolts don't bend and you don't have threads bearing on the blade grips or blade holes.

yes i checked all of my align bolts and they are too short. i dont know if the logo500 grips are smaller than the 600 grips? i think the reason the logo bolts bend is that they are threaded way to high and have a weak spot almost right in the middle of the bolt.

I buy 40mm or 50mm long bolts with a shank long enough to go into the grip, and cut to length.

Are you serious? The new 500 kit does not have bolts threaded the whole way. Is this an issue thats been resolved on newer kits?

I have the same issue with my 600. Bolts are only slightly bent but it is noticeable after only a dozen flights. Haven't had time to look for different bolts yet but I have checked my align stuff and nothing matches. They do need to have the shank run all the way through almost to where the nut seats. I have been running approx 2200 on the head for most of my flights.

I am sure mine does have bolts with the shank the whole way down.
Hi All,
Yes, Helicraze, my new 5003D also came with the long shank bolts that fit perfectly. And if they came in the kit, they must be available through AeroModel.
But I have seen the magazine review that complained about the threaded blade bolts. Cudos to Mikado for taking care of the problem.
