Gyro, X9303 and AR6100

Silly question.

Can I use the gyro menu on the X9303 with the AR6100 6 ch receiver?

Currently, I'm using the gear channel with ATV set to the rudder D/R switch, but is there any way to trick the TX to use the GYRO menu for channel #5 (gear). Current setup works fine, it would be weird that JR engineers would not allow the use of the gyro menu with a 6 channel receiver.

No, because on the X9303 the gyro sense uses Aux2 (channel 7) which doesn't exist on the AR6xxx series.
