I can see other sessions and have been able to join 2 times. all the other hundred time I get "Try again later". Camoman lives close to me and he has no problem with DSL modem and router. He didn't have to change anything.
I enabled port forwarding in my Speedstream modem and Linksys router and in Windows Vista and Norton anti virus. I even disabled the firewall in everything. Sometimes when I connect to Camoman sessions it causes his Phoenix software to crash. I also contacted Phoenix. Any Ideas? :arggg:
Being able to join people's sessions is a bit of hit or miss. I can't join a few of our group's sessions but others i can. Your just gunna have to find a guy who host regularly and you can join.

Thanks, I just joined with "So Fla" a little while ago and everything was fine but no one can see my site and I can join with my co-worker. This is tough. I bought Phoenix because my friend had it and was using multiplayer. Then it wouldn't run on my PC. To old so I bought a new rather than try to fix all its problems.
Guess I should had saved my money for a Trex 700. But it seems untouchable too. I just wish I understood all this networking stuff better. Thats whats so frustrating I guess. Thanks.
Most of the guys who host do so pretty regularly so you just have to arrange it with your buddy to meet there thats all.
They are apparently working on an even better multiplayer update, so just hold on maybe that will work better for you - though in my experience multiplayer in a lot of software is hit or miss when behind a router...

Thanks, that helps some. I've been an industrial electrician for 19 years and keep a 300 million dollar facility running but I'm letting a game whip my butt. Embarrassing.
