New Esky HH gyro

Just came across this - never heard of it before, so I thought I'd share the news.

Apart from the mounting, it's a little difficult to tell what makes it worth the extra $27.50 over the 0704A... Will be interesting to hear first flight reports, though. Esky seems to be developing some interesting stuff these days, so you never know ;)

Any idea what the delay pot is for? Is that the same as gain? It also has a limit pot which the original HH gyro doesn't. The reverse switch is a good addition too. I'd be interested to know how well it works.

Yah.. thats the 'B' version they grought out. I've seen it around for a few weeks already when I ran across it in an online HS.

I don't think myself I would want to chance spending the extra coin to find out the 'A' does just as well as the 'B'.

Think I'll wait and buy a better KNOWN reliable brand of gyro

Looks sweet, yes has the delay (which is gain) as well as the endpoint adjustment and reverse switch... Its GREAT.. but says 65 dollars on rc711.com

LOL you guys, i personally never had a problem with the esky HH gyro's, they all hold rock solid for me.


First of all its a much larger unit its almost exactly the same size as the Esky Rate Gyro so
its much bigger than the old version HH gyro.

Then it has servo limit pot which is great and the gain pot and finally a reverse switch which the original did not have making you have to swap the servo on either side of the boom.
