ok....the 6100 gyro can operate at 6.0v, but the tail servo(6100G) can only operate at 4.8v. Am I mistaken?? The question is what to do. I would prefer to run 6v, my servo's on the cyclic can handle it. I'm thinking there is a voltage regulator or something along those lines that I should use. Or is there some sort of happy medium I could program into a CCBEC to cover all the bases??? Thanks in advance!

gunny,
At one time I ran one of my Raptors on a 5.2v regulator and the Logictech servo had no problems with that voltage. So you have a couple fo options.
1.) Place a resister in the gyro to servo red wire.
Sorry I don't remember the the resister recommended for this application.
If you do a search on "steping down voltage" you might find it.
2. You can get a dedicated voltage regulator ( fairly cheap ) and insert it between the gyro and servo.

I hope this is of some small help.

Lamar, thanks!! I found this one I will probably get when it comes back in stock...http://www.readyheli.com/K10333A_5_1V_Step_Down_Voltage_Regulator_p/k10333a.htm

For now...I believe I will just run everything off of a CC bec and a Lipo. After I get the V Reg, I will bump the volts up to 6. Now I must decide on which battery......1300MAh should be enough, yes? Thanks again!

1300 mah should be fine. Just keep an eye on the voltage.
