I recently purchased two used Tempest 90 3-d's. They both have YS 91's in them. After seeing how smooth the pumped YS runs I am really tempted to try one in a 50. I have 6 OS Hypers I really like them but if the YS 50 runs that much smoother I would switch over to YS. I am interested too see what kind of answers you get, I was going to post a similar question. I would like to hear from people who actually own both engines.

YS has more grunt, OS has less power at higher RPM.
Ys is a bit lower on RPM, but way more consistent.

:shock:try to order a novarossi C50H2:shock:
it will launch the 600n as it was a rocket
plenty power plenty rpm's:thumbup:
smooth running stays very cold on temp
and uses less nitro 5 till 10% is more then enough:noteworthy
i sus the new cy 50 tuned pipe , prima combo
and the alu coolfan from Quicky:)
head spin off 2100 rpm with 3d flying engine has no problem with it.
so there is more than the OS ore the YS
for me NOVAROSSI C50H2:thumbup:

Sorry, sold all my trexes and bought Knights. Routing is not much different that muffler pressure, although I do use a piece of 1/4" heat shrink oer the line anywhere it may rub against the frame. The YS pressure system works on the lines too, so keep in mind you need to protect them against chafing.
