NiCD or NiMH

This is going to sound like a really stupid question. I use Lipo's on my heli but what I need to know is, what are the differences between NiCD and NiMh. One of my guys has a boat and he uses NiCd 1800 mah, he is looking at the larger NiMh. He found NiMh Cheaper but larger and asked me if I knew the difference. I said no but I knew where to ask.What would be the difference in the two?

Functionally not much.

NiMH does't have memory like NiCad. They self discharge a bit quicker so you need to charge transmitter packs the night before you fly.

NiMh does not hold up to high discharge rates as well. It will provide a longer discharge at a lower rate, but for the power system its not as efficient.
