On my DX7, I have one of the 'Models' setup for my Trex 450SE V2 - Question: Do I have setup another 'Model' to use the DX7 on Phoenix?

Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify a point, will I use model 1 for live flying the Trex, and model 2 to fly the Trex on Phoenix?

Yes, one for your model and another for flying with the sim. You could probably use the same one for both, but since the real and the simulated Trex are not set up exactly the same anyway, you will need to make adjustments to make them 'feel' the same.

There is a much more important reason to use a seperate model for the sim: you want to disable the swash mix (set it to 1 servo instead of three servo 120 degr. ECCPM like on the real Trex). If you do not do that, the sim has to 'undo' the mixing and the end result will not be as good as with mixing disabled.

Why not copy the Trex model settings to a new one and then change the swash mix to single servo? Don't forget to calibrate the sim.

Cheers,

Mathijs
