Hi Lads,

I Will be purchasing Reflex end of month, was wondering how the software is configured so the heli flys similair to our own helicopters in true life, do you add all the values of the controller to the software so its to true life flying or is it pre set as though our helis are setup perfect?

My helicopter is the T-rex 450 SE V2 is this one of the helicopters in the options to pick from in the reflex software or do i need to chose a closer model to practice with?

Cheers

I've just brought the latest version 5.04 today and there's no T-Rex's in the models menu, I think you have to download them online but to be honest I havent had the time to look. I fly a Rap 50 and fortunatly there's one of those on there.
My first impression is that I think it's actually harder to fly on this sim than in real life, the sim Heli reacts really quickly to any inputs, as it flies it's like watching it on a fast forward video, but that might be that I havent got it set up properly.
It's good though, it's definitly the way to go even if you just use it sharpen up your reflexes.

If you spend enough time fiddling with the settings, you can get it pretty close. One thing I noticed is that the sim seems to be less responsive to radio settings than a real bird, and it's taking some time getting it to feel "right", but once you do, it's pretty close.
