I am thinking to buy the following servos and gyro for my Freya Evo 90. Let me know what you think and if they are any good:

3 - Futaba S9351
1 - Futaba S9451 (throttle)
1 - BLS 251 (rudder)
JR G770 3D Gyro

Thanks in advance for your input! :noteworthy

Thats not going to work, the 770 doesn't support 720us center pulse. You'll need an 8900g, 9254 or something. 9251, 9256, BLS251 only work on the 601, 611, SolidG and CSM 720 (maybe the Spartan)

Could you please explain what 720us center pulse is?
If it is possible, please include URL reference so I can read about it.

Btw, will 770 work with Futaba receiver?

Thanks!

Most servos center at a pulse width of 1500us or so (micro seconds), thats what a standard reciever puts out.

Some servos center at half that, 760us so they get twice as many position updates per cycle.

Short version is they only work with gyros that specifically support them and the BLS 251 is one of those servos. Look up the specs on Futabarc.com thats why it says "for GY 601 or 611 use only" though the Solid-G and CSM SL720 both support short pulse servos.

There may be others like the Logitech and Spartan that do as well I'm not sure but I can tell you, since I just set one up on my Vibe, that the 770 does not so that servo won't work.

Yes it will work fine with a Futaba reciever.

I am opening a new threat about BLS251 servo, G7703d Gyro, and futaba RX on the main discussion forum.

Thanks again!
