Hi there campers.
Just had a rather strange experience.....
Last week I cracked a couple of ribs messing around with my 19 year old son.
In order to get through a back log of gardening, caused by spending too much time on this forum, I have been dosing my self up with cocodamol and ingnoring the protest from my ribs.
At about 3.00 pm I decided to have a well earned break and fly my heli.
I felt fairly Ok except that the flying field which is bone dry and rock hard seemed to have a strange soft springy texture under foot. Also the sky which is a beautiful clear blue seemed much closer than ususal.
Still not to worry, span her up and sent her singing into the shimmering firmament, with a contented phwap of the blades.
Aware that I was perhaps not quite as I should be I limited myself to some slow controled figure 8's and circuits not letting the speed build up too much and keeping within about 100 feet of where I was standing.
After a Few minutes I got the stangest sensation the heli was standing still hovering but the ground was sliding quite fast behind the heli I did a rudder turn, and the ground started sliding past the other way but the heli did not seem to be moving. I concentrated on stopping the ground from moving and quickly landed.
I was not really aware of turning my body to face the heli but I must have been:smokin:
'You ask Alice when she's 10 feet tall'
Any one else had any medication induced flying Experiences??
