I keep reading lots of post about problems with the tail on both the SD and belt.
Is there some special way that the tail needs to be built or setup? Any top tips to keeping down tail blow outs?

I have the sd version and had an issue with the one of the carbon fiber sides of the tail box. Namely the one on the rotorblade side. The bearing was loose in it's seat like the hole had been drilled bigger than the bearing. It was bad enough that I could move the tail shaft a couple of mm. This was causing bad vibrations. I replaced both of them with some I made out of 1.6mm frp and the vibration dissapeared. Also not sure if it's related but the the gear on the tail shaft was turning on the shaft. I only noticed a problem when I would give right rudder. If I applied right rudder the heli would turn right about 90 degrees and then just stop and I would also hear the tail bogging/slowing down all the while I am holding full right rudder. I disassembled the tail and the gear slid off with little effort. I ca'd it back on and it's ok now. Just be on the lookout for any slop in the shaft or the gear turning on the shaft.
