I just found out about this event in today's Dallas Morning News Metro section. I probably won't go since it's short notice; I'm just mentioning it in case some of the nearby HeliFreaks are interested.

What baffles me is that they didn't mention one word about it on HeliFreak. By the time I saw it was happening and posted about it, it was too late for most people to change their plans. You'd think the way they were publicizing the hell out of it that they would have gotten the word out to all the online heli communities, especially one as large as HeliFreak.
I'll have to try to keep my calendar open for it next year. Did you go for all three days, Jeremy?

Folks,
I was told that runryder was the main chat for event sign ups and I only put it in the calender here on heli freak
I have been emailed by more that 25 people at that same fact but I'm curious how could have any one missed it being on runryder and was talked about for over 7 months.
If every one that missed would have knowed about it and came we would have had over 78 pilots Now thats an event and thats something to look foward to next year.
now after the event is over comes my decompression stage.
Good news, now that every knows about it, it just gives it room to grow for next year and Jamie Robertson has set the date for the last weekend of June 09 so the bigger talent can party with us.
Oh an by the way He ended up 7th at the XFC " Way to go young man " tops to ya!
Guys, I am so sorry that you missed it and it simply was a pilots event that everyone is saying it's a must attend for next year.

There are a lot of people like me that don't hang out at RunRyder. HF keeps me busy enough as it is.
