Here's some picures of my finished AP mount. Camera not included
It features 45 degrees of tilt, Dampened swing with a unique ball socket system and was designed for the pilot who wants to give AP a try for the first time.
The CNC parts, full instructions and the hardware will come in the kit, You supply a servo, servo horn and the CPVC frame parts ( available at most home improvement stores)
Kit price will be $99.95
Please tell me what you think

Tom,
That is a neat idea.
How well does the roll/pitch compensation work?
It seems like it shoudl work very well, but I wonder about the drag from the ball/socket making it "jerky"
Still very cool and a good way to get into the hobby side of AP for a reasonable price.

The ball and socket has about .003 clearance. Without the shocks it will swing back and forth about 3.5 times if you push the camera just a little! That's in any direction.

Leave it to StatorGator (Tom Fiddler) to come up with cool stuff!! I could see one of those on my Ion for a quick photo!!

Tom,
Don't work too hard. It is a skill that just comes with practice on video.
I would be most interested in just seeing some hovering.
You ball and socket idea intriges me. :D

 It is not foam it is a solid material. I got mine from Tom and since then the wind and weather and work will not let me fly and play :(
It is top grade work and once you see it you will smile :D
