Hi Guys
I recently brought a new pre built Raptor 50 V2. I was still gently running it in and after about 7 tanks of fuel the engine cut, for a first ever auto I managed to get it down but did suffer a minor boom strike.
Just to be on the safe side I've decided to fit the usual parts, spindle, main shaft, boom, blades, etc.
It's all gone well but I cannot get the feathering spindle out, I've searched for an answer everywhere but cant seem to find anyone who's had the same problem. It's not seriously bent if it's even bent at all. I have tried undoing the bolt on one side and pulling the other with a pair of pliers, I even ground down a pair of mole grips so they would fit inside the blade grip and tried extracting that way but no joy. My next method it to start tapping it through with a drift but I'm afraid this may damage the bearings/other components or bur the end of the shaft so that it wont fit through the bearing.
Any ideas??
Many Thanks
