Is there an easy way of removing the pin from the main yoke as so I can replace the dampners and spindle.

I'm having trouble removing it :S

Is there an easy way of removing the pin from the main yoke as so I can replace the dampners and spindle.

I'm having trouble removing it :S

1) Place a "brick" (something flat and heavy) on your work bench
__(To "resist" or counter the "impact" from the hammer)
2) Place a set if pliers on the "brick"
3) Place the main joke pin between the two halves of the plier
4) Find a very thin screw driver tip that is smaller than the pin, and gently hammer the pin out.

Nice and easy ... :)

Managed to get it out without damaging the main yoke.

A pinion puller is perfect for this job but I only have a GWS micro puller which is too small to fit over the head.
I used a block of wood instead of the brick and pliers. Less risk of damage to the head but still a bit of a nightmare to get out this way. Apparently theres a right side and wrong side to tap out from but I didn't know this at the time :confused:.
