So, I went to the MHA funfly last weekend in Maryland and watched these little 200's go through the motions and was really impressed. Went back to the hotel to read up on the pros/cons here at the freak and ordered one from helihobby.com. So I'm all excited thinking it would ship Monday :( and I'd have it for this weekend and the 200 is out of stock (although it says in stock when I add it to the basket today).

So now I have pre-200 depression. I like the combo from helihobby, and I talked with a girl there who said they expected more in on Thursday and she'd throw in a couple extra parts for the wait. I'll give them a shot and wait until Monday, I have my next spare part order ready for them but if they don't ship the heli, I might move everything over to another online vendor.

Tha's why I like ReadyHeli. They don't list stuff as instock when it's not.

I might take your advice!!!!

flying-hobby.com has two 3D combos..the SE for $479 and the SD for $435. I thought the SD (shaft drive) was the better/expensive of the two??? What does the SE come with for $45 more?

I purchased mine from Flying-Hobby and have been very pleased with their service and speed of shipping. Fung is very responsive to questions as well.

If customer service didn't find a solution that was suitable to you please send me a PM with your wishes and we will take care of it. If customer service told you it would be in Thursday and you'd be given something extra that is what will happen so you may wish to wait.

We do not list things in stock that are not but there is a chance a browser cookie can cause a problem for a 1 in stock item when two people are deciding and under certain circumstances.

I flew my 200 alot at MHA so it may have been me you were seeing, I had the prange canopy. I really need to get a vid posted to show everyone how it flies on 2s. With the stock motor and the stock newest gaui pack, it has more than enough power for tictocks, piroflips etc. On top of that you cant beat $22 for a pack.

Edit: I second/third/whatever eveneryone else said, hh isn't the best. I just got a bunch of spares from amain with no issues.

We are a great online vendor we have a serious amount of sales per day and this is the first issue brought to me in a very long time. Due to our volume of sales something that may be in stock one moment can be out of stock the next because we do offer the best combos, the best prices and we have lightning fast shipping. A lot of companies have an option for this on the order page for dealing with out of stock items for the same reason we do. Browser cookies are hard to deal with there is no simple solution.

We do provide options for the customer and although I know waiting isn't a first choice sometimes it is just worth it to wait. Especially when we are gifting things to the customer for doing so. As stated if the customer is unhappy we will provide other options. Please bring it to me or the manager Nikki and you will be taken care.

P.S. If you use the other webpage and choose the list feature you can see actual items in stock!

Helismith,

Thanks for jumping on here, it's good to see vendors posting (and it gives me the warm fuzzies knowing my order is not sitting in a black hole)

AJ,

Do you have a TREX600 too?

I just want to state for the record, when I posted the above I was suggesting to "order another heli elsewhere" so that the OP would have an additional heli to the one he ordered from Heli Hobby. I did not intend to suggest nor imply that HeliHobby was less than reliable or unworthy of our business. Quite the contrary, I have had excellent service from Heli Hobby and have no reason to believe I'll ever get anything but. My appologies to Helismith and Heli Hobby if my posting conveyed anything negative.

The usual mixed bag of results...

I shop ReadyHeli quite a bit, HeliHobby, though is my prime source, after that, If I need something, I go find it....

Yes, every now and then something <available, will sell out, sorry it was your heli this time!> at HH, I would like to talk to them about database latency in thier order system, but another topic. FWIW, it's all automated, on both sites. I'm also not so keen on HH's website in general, or worse, about signature required for UPS delivery over $600, ahem!! (I'm not home much, chasing the UPS truck makes me wanna bombard a fortress or something!!) but onward...

I have, though, been very happy with the support, and follow up from HH. Always, I find I can get my spares fast and reliably there. They stock the stuff I burn up, got my first 200 there in about two days. I order about every weekend, it all seems to show up when I get back and am wanting to fly the next. I've been doing this for over a year now.

Many, many times, I need parts for 600, 450, 400, 200, tools, ect.. I find I can get more, different parts on one order from them at one time.

Again, not to dis RH, they're great folks, but if not for a couple of those young lasses at HH, I'd be flying a Pixo-Zapeta, and a Yo-Y0 90. They also fly themselves <<<***girls fly!!! - gasp***>>>, and offer pretty good advice most all the time. I also get e-mails from competition 3D folk, long story, don't expect this if you're not a pirate ;-)....

But, Whadda ya say when someone answers the phone any day, remembers your name and what you're flying, gives advice, is a pilot, and sometimes talks you out of an expensive piece of equipment that you <seem to> think you need? For my money HH & RH are tops, But I'll go HH whenever I can, that's just me.

So... Arrg! I think HH is just fine, results vary on each order with all of them, but I've got HH on my speedial, and use it quite often.
