Have a buddy that bought a Futaba 6ch FAAST system from LHS about 2mos ago. He's not super happy with it. Programming screen is TINY, plus the transmitter pack lasts about 4-5 flights before he has to recharge it. He's a plank flyer and doesn't have alot of $ to throw around. So the X9303 is out lol.

I have been really happy(knock on wood) with my JR x9303 so wanted to ask the users here about the DX7's. I know awhile back some had issues with a voltage regulator. Is that design flaw fixed?

thanks
John

I absolutely love my DX7 and would recommend it to anyone. Programming is intuitive and easy.

DX7 all the way. I have one; lots of folks around me have one.

There is no "issue" with the voltage regulator to be "fixed". Some people, based on experiences with another radio, have decided to switch out the stock voltage regulator for an after market regulator. Some people have had great success with this swap; others have screwed up their radio. There is absolutely no reason to swap the regulator The stock one is fine. Some people just like to "hack".

Anyway, the DX7 is HIGHLY recommended. A fine mid-range radio.
