Well i am new to plains but ween i seen this one i had to have one it is a great flyer.

I fly Helis but if you are looking for a good flying plain cheak this plain out i am just learning to fly it but the guys and the rc field said it was the wrong plain to learn with but after the training guy flew it he changed his mind i put a OS65 motor on it with a 12-6 prop. you can fly it fast or slow and it just don't seam to mind.

this plain will take you from mild to wild

I have the pulse 60 and I am using the electric version. Looks like the kit backplate and spinner will not fit on the short shafte 60 brushless motoe so I went with the ext. and spinner supplied with the motor.

I am having a problem with the canopy glue i'm using. Doesn't seem to work very well. What are my options for gluing a canopy on the puls. Other glues?

HI billybuck on the canopy i did not glue mine i put four small screw in the canopy to in the front and two in the back it is holding up great. and it make it nice so you can take the canopy off if you wonted to ad a pilot to the airplane.

Thanks hify.

I solved the spinner problem by just drilling the backplate to fit the motor extension. I will add screws to the canopy as you suggest. Sounds like the way to go.

I'm running the Align 75A ESC with a Hercules BEC connected to it. What's the best way to hook up a switch to this setup? Should I put the switch between the BEC or ESC connection?

well i am no expert but i would hock it to the ESC that ween you turn it off you no nothing is drawing current. but like i said i am no expert.

how about flapron mix or air breaks mixes do you know what efect they would have on the plain. as i am new to flying and just starting to get the take off and landing down.

I'm in the same boat as you bud. I've only flown heli's. Planes I know are easier and i'm picking up what I can from the guys at the field. Landing seems to be the only tricky part.

As far as radio programing goes I would just stick to the basics for the start.
Set low rates and high rates per the instructions and add some expo to all control surfaces to soften the feel and let her rip. Be sure your on low rates while landing the first few times.

Just like helis, landing is easy! Landing intact, well, that's not so easy.

Don't worry, it just takes practice!
