Do you turn it on with the throttle all the way down, or do you spool up a little first?
BTW - I can't see the vid either.

If you set your throttle curve so that lift in NORM and STUNT/IDLE UP are at about the same RPM %, the only thing different to remember is not to drive the little bugger into terra firma on landing in STUNT/IDLE UP!!!!

Just as well it wasn't a yellow canopy Belt, as we would lose it in that field!!!!!!!!

its the C rating that gives you more Ommmfff MAh is just the capacity.
you can turn up your headspeed by turning the left knob to like say 10 oclock position. it will be much more stable that way as well.

yes,
but a 2200 @ 20c will have more oomph than a 1800 @ 20c.
but what i meant was the battery seams a bit crappy.
when i get my new charger i will see if it makes a difference
when i switch to idle up on the floor just before take off the blades spin very fast but as i move the throttle up slightly to lift the head speed seams to drop?
is that normal?

Barks,
Nice video, I have not had the guts to fly my Belt in a wind like that yet, still hovering, but getting more confident with every flight.
Is that a Copter X canopy? it looks nice on the belt.
I think.....(professional heli flyers, correct me if i am wrong) that the reason why the head speed is slowing down when you increase throttle/pitch is because of the increase in drag from the blades when the pitch increases.
I have a Belt CP RTF version that came with a radio, so pretty much all of my "fine tuning" comes from mechanical changes. I am getting a DX7 for my nitro heli soon and I will be using that radio in the Belt CP as well. It will be nice to have more control over the helicopter's electronics.

between the "[ YOUTUBE][/YOUTUBE ]" which you get when clicking the youtube button, you must paste the embed code that is given on the right hand side of you movie on youtube.com. It look some like this:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zQWSN0MZCa8&hl=en&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zQWSN0MZCa8&hl=en&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Nice one Barks. Head speed does look alittle slow. I know what you mean about your battery. I have a stock one and a good brand. It makes a big difference with the good battery. Congrats though at the idle up flying.

I finally made the NORM adjustments to PITCH and THROTTLE so that at half stick, they are the same. In effect, in NORN, I am flying in stunt mode without the negative bit!!
Seems fine, very responsive,
Mike
