I was browsing my LHS today I came across this Bell 222 fuselage for the Hirobo XRB-SR. It's almost perfect length wise, so I think that you might be able to get this to work? What do you think?

i bet you could, i know you can use blade cx and other coaxial fuselages
Are hobby shops pretty interesting in china?
theres an Asian guy in Seattle that runs/owns a hobby-shop/Gym... i cant help but smile every time i think about it

It's only 7mm shorter than the E-Flite Blade CX2's fuse, and Crabfu was able to get his Gaui into that fuse okay. I think I may try it (on my Dad's Gaui :) ).

:DH! If by interesting you mean it takes 20 minutes to get a bottle of locktite and a bag of zipties, then yes. It seems like to me that most of the guys into r/c helis over here, aren't really into it. I took my t-rex to one of the hobby stores near me to get them to check it over (it was my first build), and when I got it home that night, the tail rotor blades were turning the wrong way, and the swashmix was wrong. They've also sold me counterfeit servos and gyros ! In america, or almost any other place in the world for that matter, you would never wonder whether your servos or gyros were fake or not. It's borderline ridiculous! Sorry for the ranting, but I needed to blow off some steam.
Anyway, I thought it was a pretty interesting fuse, but I still think we should look into vacuum forming fuses and canopies like you mentioned. BTW, how are you coming along with that idea?

The cx fuse was a tight fit, had to cut it out a bit, and the front and back piece didn't quite mesh up, it was too short. So this fuse might not fit? Also being one piece, it would be a pain to put on. Sure looks sweet though! I was looking at the eflite cx ranger fuse at the LHS, and it's not nearly as well detailed as this fuse. I didn't end up getting it because it was also one pice.

The E-flite Ranger fuse is too small even with cutting it out. Ask me how I know :arggg:

Speaking of Scale Fuse and 222 , Has anyone got the airwolf from Heli Artist (http://www.heliartist.com/product_Mini_airwolf_black.html)?
THanks

I thought about it but it's just too darn heavy. Plus, I'm not a Airwolf fan.

How is that??

It weighs 89 grams. Like strapping two extra 2S batteries onto your Gaui 200.

Someone did put one on their Gaui a little while back. I think if you look in the show off your gaui thread you might find it, or search this forum. I'll do a little digging and see what I can find.
Buzz, I meant how are you not an Air Wolf fan? Also I travel thru Salt lake city every week and a guy there has the Air Wolf body on his. He flew it at a lhs in ogden for quite a while with impressive results. I believe he was running a 2s 1320 and it did add alot of weight I was told but also helped with stability.

Just bever really cared for the show as a kid. I prefer a 222 with civilian paint scheme.

I just got done sculpting the sjm out of clay, for the most part. the clay i bought is the kind you dont have to heat/fire so it dries real easily and some how the bag came unsealed. by the time it got to my hands it was one solid dry brick so i had to soak it in water over night then beat the crap out of it be for i could start. but now that its all ready to go i should be able to start kickin 'em out
as for the scale fus, i was looking at some of the "snap" together models at the hobby shop. i think im going to use one of those for the walkera, and if i can find one the right size for the 200 i could use that to mold or at least as something to go off of when sculpting.
ill try and post some pictures of the clay "master" back in the other thread

Are you gonna make FG or Plastic canopys? I'd like to give it a try but I really suck at that sort of thing.
