Well I finaly crasded with the TT. Stripped the front gear almost instantly and I'm pretty quick on the throttle hold. Shouldn't be too much for replacement part. On another note, it still flys. I just posted a vid in 15mph winds in another thread. The gear stripped about 1/3-1/2 of the teeth so when I spool it up if it's not on the good teeth the tail won't spin. However, if I rotate it it flys ok. Hey, I have to fly until the replacement arives don't I?

Sorry to hear it. What about the other two? Are they not on hot standby? I have a confession, I have another 200 on the way. $255 shipped, how do you turn that down? Oh fyi, the carbon fiber boom won't work with the sd, the one I have is to short by about15mm, I got it from ReadyHeli. I thought about cutting the shaft and decided against it, but that was before I ordered 200 #2 hmm. Do you notice any difference between belt and shaft when flying? Just curious. Cheers.

The shaft is quieter and doesn't vibrate the tail like a belt. One is on standby (just too lazy to go get it) the other is missing a few parts (again too lazy to go into the basement for parts) I stole them for another. All in all just been lazy lately. Maybe it's the hot weather.

I'm used to crashing lol. It was the gear up front that connects to the motor pinion.

You sure it wasn't the gear that connects the brain to the thumbs?

Oh well its cheaper then a belt and a tailshaft.

Well not to be mean but, I examined my crown gear tonight and decided to try pushing it closer to the pinion. She flys!! Not bad either. Still gonna replace the gear as soon as my order from ReadyHeli gets here.
