Hi,After rebuilding my Shuttle after a fairly heavy crash nose down  two things that have changed.
One is the tail servo and the Gyro had reversed. :?
Two the tail servo now constantly twitches. :? :?

Now the one could have been me as i was messing with the transmitter and i dont know if when adjusting something did i accidently reverse settings im sure i didnt.

Two. Ive plugged the gyro (GWS PG-01 Pro Piezo Gyro ) lead into another servo and it still twitches.
Ive connected the tail servo directly to the receiver and there is no twitch.
Could the crash have broken(posh word)the gyro.
Im thinking of changing the gyro anyway but id like to cure this for my own satisfaction.
Thanks.

UPDATE.Ive just taken the gyro to pieces and it looks like a capacitor, has fallen off.

Piezo based gyros are called such because they use piezoelectric materials, namely quartz. The piezo stuff it's self is quite similar in apperance to a porcelan plate, and it will crack. Once the piezo has cracked, the natural harmonic frequency is disrupted and that gyro will need a new piezo assembly. it is generally cheaper to buy a new one. Believe it or not, wheel balancers use the very same technology as your piezo gyro, and I used to work on wheel balancers for a living, so I have had my share of broken piezos.

If something inside the gyro has broken, I would suspect that you have been granted an "upgrade opportunity" as I like to call it.
