I've been watching this forum for a while and flying Trex450 for 8 months. Decided to buck the trend and go small rather than larger for the moment since I couldn't resist $250 for the Gaui from Amain.
I plan to use Hitec 45HBx3 and a logitech 2100t gyro. Would you guys recommend the mating 3100 servo or something else. I have an extra Jr3400 but at 1oz. I guess its a little overweight.
Thanks,
Cliff

Welcome aboard. The 3100's the best match for the 2100 gyro.

Good to have you aboard GreenCello, I use the 3100 and it works fine for my flying. Knucklesdragon posted a little earlier about an identical servo to the 3100 thatis less than half the price, i'll be ordering one for sure... please see his post here

Welcome aboard GreenCello :).
Your suggested setup sounds good besides the 1 oz. receiver :). Spektrum AR6100 seem to be a popular choice.
Did you get the belt driven or shaft driven version? Keep us posted.

Thanks for the welcome. Does seem to be more lively over here than in other Helifreak closets. If I don't learn something here at least ole gravybeard will keep me entertained:YeaBaby:.(Boat sank called for a helo and look where I ended up)
I ordered Amain's $254 special on the Pro Carbon belt drive. I live out in the sticks and fly over weeds so the belt will probably hold up better.
I must have gotten the last one. I clicked back to Amain and they don't list the kit tonite.
