ive just been very close to grabbing the heli by the boom and smashing it on the table!
ive tried to get the stupid circlip on for the last 3 hours!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone tell me how?

well the best advice i can give you is read this forum and after that setup the heli. and i mean setup ween you think you have got it right cheak it agian it better to cheak it out on the table than ween it smack the ground. but good luck and if you could ad to what the heli is doing or not doing it would help. Lot of good folks hear to help

The one holding the tail pinion on?

It is very fiddly, you have better Access with the servo removed, I have done it with long nosed pliers but the best way of changing the pinion is to remove the rear screws which hod the frame together till you can prise the rear of the frame far apart enough toremove the shaft and bearings together, It sounds a pain but it doesnt take long, the only difficulty with that is making sure the bottom bearing does't slide off the shaft when you are refitting it , but its much easier than trying to get that circlip on in situ....:)
