"Thank you very much for your email. We are making good progress with finalizing the LOGO 400. There is a lot to be coordinated at the very end but I do expect it will take another month at least."

With the MSH Protos and T-rex 500 out I hope the Logo 400 comes through and kicks some a$$! But at least another month... perfection takes time I guess. :YeaBaby:

Yeah, I keep waiting and hoping. Spoiled by Logos, the T-Rex 500 doesn't feel as exciting (it flies heavy to me), but I'm waffling what heli to replace it with. You've pointed out the two that seem the most likely to fill that spot.

Waiting for some comparisons...

Aaargh I wish this thing would hurry up and come out already! I need something bigger than the T-Rex 450 SE for all this wind we have around here. I don't want the Trex 500 either. Maybe the Protos is calling my name again:arggg:

Nope, you want the Logo500, bigger is better, especially in wind.

I'd like the 500 but the Batts for those cost quite a bit more than ones for the 400. Not to mention blades, motor, esc, frames, kit. I kept kicking the idea around but it's just more than I can justify spending right now:(

Yeah I'm tossing between this and the MSH...but the month longer wait seems to be pointing more towards the MSH

I've also been leaning towards the MSH, but I would prefer to complete my Logo collection.

I have wanted a Logo ever since I first saw one. Plus I can get local parts support for the logo which is important to me. I just wish it would come out already. I remember when the 500s came out there were a lot of delays.

Ahh, if it takes much longer than I will build my own from a Logo 10 and get the canopy later. I got to talk to Matt Botos yesterday and check out his Logo 400 and it is exactly like a L10 except for the shorter tail and canopy. The canopy is super light and looks killer.

Matt said that he had also tried a 5S 3300 in his L400 and that it flew great. He thinks that a 3700 pack would be killer for a sport flying pack.

So, another month wait sucks!

I didn't want to get a heli smaller than 30 size again but this may just tempt me! :)

Just playing devil's advocate here...as I'm stuck debating between the MSH and Mikado myself but just a quick question (especially for those that have seen it):
What's the big deal about this heli if it's exactly the same as an L10 with a shorter boom and different canopy? If that's all it is, why is it any better than an L10? You can just get the L10 3D and put the new canopy on if you please, can you not?

I'd love to know whats going on with the 400. If it is indeed a shruken logo 10 then why is there a delay ? All the parts (canopy aside) will be on the shelf already. Mikado had a logo 10 easy with a shorter boom and belt in the past.

Maybe there is more going on that we know, i know i sure would love to know as i would rather shrink a 10 than buy a new heli.

I'm still trying decide between the MSH & Logo 400..... the jury is still out for me.

I did get to see a MSH PROTOS fly last Saturday.... It was fast as hell and VERY quiet. I was impressed, but I think it still has a few bugs that need to be worked out. Nothing big that would stop me from buying it. I want to see the Logo 400 in a few hands before I make my final decision.

Which are the bugs of the Protos you have seen or heard? only the tail pulley (just fixed with newone9 or other?

Because i have also to decide what to buy....

The L400 that Matt Botos had was a flybarless L10 with a shorter boom. The reason I am just waiting for it to come out is that I don't have an L10 to shrink and I don't mind waiting for it. I also think it will be a great heli because it is just a shorter L10.

That still sounds somewhat disappointing. If I wanted an L10...I would have just bought an L10, ya know? :(

Yeah, I gotcha' there. I'm really just happy to get an L10 again and one that uses smaller batteries.

What is it that you guys want that the L10 doesn't offer? Driven tail is the only thing I can think of and I don't even need that. I have seen plenty of L10s auto great without a driven tail. The only time I auto is when I have to, so the driven tail only hinders a good auto in my case.

The L400 does come stock with a FG canopy as standard according to the Mikado guys I talked to at the XFC.
