Went flying this morning
good weather still cool and very calm no wind

Flew a set of batts adjusted tracking and trims and all flying very nicely.

2nd flight strapped on the 2500Flight powers we have, spooled up, took off did one or two left to right and the bloody thing almost fell out of the sky NO POWER what so ever i was very lucky to land it in one piece!
This set of LiPo's Dumped like an old set of Nicads in my old RC Cars!!

Check out the voltage curve in the graph!!:WOW

Then compare it to the other graph of another set of batteries that hold their voltage really well

Man that tested my skills this morning

On a good note though

I managed to crack multiple Pirouettes in both directions:rolling

I want to be able to nose in by the time bob gets back from blighty!

i bet with a drop off like that you had one cell crap out.worth checking cause if you know anyone with suicidal tendencies who can solder you can open them up and recycle the good cells...... make up a 3 or 4 cell pack for your new trex(lucky bugger).like i've said batteries aren't the cheapest here, leads to creative measures

So you've buggered my favourite batteries then! They are at least two years old so I think we have had a good run out of them!
Here is a picture of those batteries on my old Eco 8 in 2006!!!

Good idea i will investigate further.

We have already put some old 1800 flightpowers that can no longer be flown to good use as TX battery packs.

I havent charged my DX7 pack for over a month and its still showing 11.2 Volts!!
