My swash mix is at 60% all around. I don't have the "twitchy" problem but if I was you I'd add expo instead of messing with the mix. Especialy having different % mix. Have you tried expo? I think that would help you the most.

My swash mix is 60% all round as well, and I dont use expo.. I dont find it twitchy at all. Flies really well

Watch Finless Bob's CPPM 1&2 if you have not already, with attention to removing cyclic interaction.

Make sure that you've got the brass flybar weights on.

Check to make sure that the flybar moves freely and does not bind.

Check your blade tracking.

If you're running woodies, you might try plastic blades, there is some difference there.

Every time I get a heli too twitchy it seems like it ends up in the flybar though, maybe just me though.

Good points. Especialy the flybar. Gaui 200s have a tendancy to have sticky flybars. Check to make sure it's loose and moves easy. Loose might be a bad word. "Free moving" might be better.

i dont have your problem with 45hb, 3156/align RCE600 gyro, ar6200, DSX9 (=9303 2.4G). Channel 5 changed to governor mode for gyro sensitivity control (=45%). 2cell 850mah.
receiver attached in front and above battery like the manual suggested. gyro put inside and behind battery.
length of ccpm servo linkages all equal to manual setup. swash mix 60% for all. 100% dual rates for all modes. No expo set up.
very stable for 2 test flights at normal mode outdoors with little wind last weekend.
will try to take pictures tonight to help...
any CG problem ?

I'm pretty sure that my flybar doesn't move as freely as it should. How do I fix this?

I'm pretty sure that my flybar doesn't move as freely as it should. How do I fix this?

In my case, I reamed out all the links that connect to anything related to the flybar -- seesaw, mixer arms, washout, all of it -- and head movement is now super free. In a couple cases I thought I'd overdone it -- the links practically fall off -- but 50 flights later it works perfectly.

I also suggest balancing the flybar. Disconnect the links, screw the paddles on exactly the same number of turns, slide the bar in the seesaw until it's perfectly centered, and tighten it down. You'll find you that micro movements will unbalance it, so be patient; it's very sensitive.

Does this detail pay off? I got a pleasant surprise the other night. My first outdoor flight in dead calm air, my heli lifted off and just hung in a motionless, hands-off hover for 10 seconds before I had to touch the stick. It was a thing of beauty!

Surf is right here.. the detail makes all the difference... i know i posted this b4 (and i love to hear myself type..), but post #17 from this thread http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=76551&highlight=0.4mm&page=2

...describes the length i go to, to set up the flybar... it makes all the difference in the world!!!

But Seriously Surf... 10 seconds 'of stick' on a 200 is freakin' awesum Dude  can i mail you my 200 for a profesional "Surf-Special-Tune-Up" :)
