hey all,

i still have not flown my sk360 yet but i must say Art has been great to deal with and a real stand up guy...
i have one of the original units and not used and he suggested without me asking to swap it out for a new model so that there is no issue of a problem....

i think i am going to get a few of them for my other helis....

great guy to deal with...

i will second the excellent cust service. my unit was giving me the random kicks and art pm'd me on here telling me that i had a new unit on the way. i didn't even ask he (skookum) just did it. i have never had better support than what i have received from skookum heli's or not.:thumbup:

I had an issue with the USB port of the first release, Art was quick to help out and after I got the warranty exchange I had another issue and Art sent me a second unit without waiting for me to return the unit with the issue!!!!
WOW this is what I call service and I couldn't speak my praise loud enough; I bet you haven't heard of service like this from any other company! At least not in the last 10 years!

So , after having my unit sitting in the box over two months I had some time to start my T-rex 500 build, long story short in the middle of the setup I could not power up the unit utilizing an external power source, not only that, battery (receiver battery) cables started getting very hot so cover started melting. stopped the setup right there and sent an e-mail to Skookum for technical support, very short after that Art answered my e-mail and gave me some tips to troubleshoot, and Yes he was right on the spot. My brand new ESC had short on the connector portion of it, thankfully SK720 has a circuit inside to protect it against any wire shorting.

Any way even though I lost my ESC, but I am very happy and satisfied with Skookum customer service.

Align .....learn from Skookum !

Gotta add +1 from me. I had a used SK360 with a bad USB dongle. Didn't realize that was the problem until I started talking with Art and he sent me a new dongle. Up to that point, I thought it was drivers on my computer not being able to recognize the gyro. I feel like I probably would have torn my pc apart to find the problem.:thumbup:

They've offered to cross-ship me a new unit. So if this works out then 10/10

It may appear I was impatient for a response, but when the ebay dealer is trying to pass the buck and the manufacturer doesnt respond it's normal to get panicky.
So all good!

I mentioned this elsewhere in this forum but this is an appropriate place also to report that today I received the new replacement top case along with very good instructions on how to replace it. Art did just as he said he would when I first reported the cracked case issue and my warranty is still honored even though I'll be breaking the seal to replace the case top. No one should have any qualms or reservations about buying an SK-720. They stand behind their product and couldn't have been any nicer in dealing with my problem.
Two thumbs up!!
