View Full Version : stripping aileron servo gear

left side aileron, two stripped gear in two weeks. no binding anywhere and all seems correct but...........
any suggestions? :roll:

It is known that the stock servo's break easily
I believe most of us use sg90's to replace the stock servo's.

I was replacing at least one servo a week when I used stock Eskys. I think it was most often the one you're also having difficulties with. No crashes, no binding, no other problems... Seems they just don't need an excuse to go bad on you.

SG90s seem to be the solution - no more spontaneous breakdowns on any of my helicopters.

...the Hitec55 is nice too,and I have the Futaba S1354 in the tail, which is excellent but more expensive.....

Yes I agree better servos are the first step. Both servos mentioned are good choices.Hitec 65hbs all round in mine. Nice locked in feel.
