I'm looking at buying Reflex XTR but am not sure if my Graphics card is up to the job.
I've looked back through the threads here but as I'm not partucularly tech minded I cant seem to work it out for myself.
I tried emailing the manufacturer but to date I've still not heard back from them.

It seems to run my daughters games fine but what worries me is that the Reflex website says that anything before October 2006 would need replacing, and as you can see my date is 6 months prior to that.

Here's all the info I have managed to find about my card:

Name: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 se
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip Type :Geforce 7300
DAC TYPE: Integrated RAM
Approx Total Memory: 512.0 MB
Current Display Mode: 1280X768 32bit 60Hz

Main Driver: nv4_disp.dll
Version 6.14.0010.8466 (English)
Date 28/04/2006 00:47:00
WHQL Logo’d: Yes
Mini VDD: nv4_mini.sys
VDD: N/A
DDI Version: 9 (or higher)

Memory interface: 64 bit
Memory Bandwidth: 5.2 GB/s
Fill Rate: 900 million pixels/sec

I dont mind shelling out for a decent flight sim but I dont want to have to pay out for a new graphics card on top & then start poking about inside my computer.

Anybody got any thoughts? Your help would be appreciated.

guygate88,

Go to Nvidia website and download newest composite driver and try the update- it won;t let you do it if not appropro. What OS are you using? I run on 7300 GS on Vista. Try the update and backout the driver if it doesn't work for you..

Runs fine on my 2001 zd7000 hp with Geforce5600 which is a earlier model than yours.

Thanks for your time guys,

Rusty,
I'm running Windows XP Professional (Windows Media Center Edition)
Its a Packard Bell - IMEDIA MC 2469 - 1022MB of RAM
And I've just found out its got a Pentium (R) D 2.80Ghz CPU in it.

Sounds promising for mine then, what version of Reflex are you running?

Also a quick question for both of you (or anyone else for that matter), do your radios take power from the USB, or do you have to charge up and play for as long as the batteries last?

Regards

Guy
