Good point shannon...
I have the TT on mine...other than that...
Just CF blades.
Head Button
BBs
Speed torpedo Muffler...
Thats about it...
I Believe Century makes a metal head...or maybe thats just the swashplate :?:

the only upgrades I have on my Falcon is

"heli only"
1) carbon tail blades

2) rear mounted tail servo

3) constant tail drive

4) 4 long balls, 2 on the swash top and 2 on the flyber cradle

5) 4 high quality bearings

I don't consider 4 and 5 upgrades, but they are not stock, so I did add them

motor

1) over size 60B carb

2) large Weston tuned pipe

Trust me, buy nothing for your hawk that does not make it fly better.
Spend your money on fuel and good blades
Fly that thing until you are comfortable in ALL orientations, Then get a 50

Upgrading the connection between your brain and your fingers will do much, much, much more than a metal upgrade ever will.

A good pilot can make a junk heli look good
A bad pilot can make a good heli look like junk

Tom said it, don't put a lot of money in your Hawk, because you will end up putting more money in it than a Falcon or Raven will cost,,,

now, if you crash and you need a part and the upgrade is only a few $$ more, then that may be the time to buy an upgrade...

I wish some one would have given me that advice--but I wouldn't have listened anyway.

I agree with Tom, buy fuel and burn it. But....if you crash and need to replace parts anyway, the rotor head on the Falcon SE V2 and the Raven is a BIG improvement. You will not have to replace everything on the head to do this upgrade. You can reuse the blade grips.

Thanks this is really good advice that is over looked by people like me, a n00b.
