I recently traded for a .30 size scale airwolf with a .37 os in it. I set the pitch up for about -4 to +10 and when I went to test hop it hovered at about 8 degrees. The motor I belive is not running rich and the rotor speed seems ok but I do not have an optical tack to check it. It weighs in at about 9 pounds with retracts and two lipo batteries. Is this normal for a scale? I am new to it and do not know. I have a set of 600 TT carbon blades on it as well.

Considering that the heli is a bit overweight compared to the unencumbered Hawk, it may be that you need more RPM or pitch, but 8 degrees seems a lot too high for hovering.
600's should load the motor more, so your throttle curve will be odd looking to say the least, probably 90% at 3/4 stick...?
Try adjusting the pitch curve to a point where it's light on the skids, and hit hold and check pitch.

I worked on it some today with the throttle and pitch curves. Got most of it worked out. I just need to get an optical tack and get rid of the guesswork.
