i like mine, at first it felt funky, but it melts into your hands and is light, has adjustable gimbals with goodfeel, and it's rock soild. feels quicker then my jr radios.

Loving mine so far. I have been using the FM version for a year so it is basically the same thing minus the silver colored stuff.

I'm not one of those guys that has to hold up his TX in every picture like it's a badge of honor. I just need something that works and it does.

For the price it's hard to beat (http://www.ronlund.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=heli&Product_Code=AIRRDS8000). Once you get used to the menus, it is nice and simple, no frills, and Global Hobby's customer service is great.

I have been using the RD8000 (72mhz) version for 2 summers now and it has done everything asked of it. Very reliable, flies any FM receiver on the market, great price. You will not find a better 8 channel radio at the same price. If there were any changes I would make, it would be to bump up the programmable mixes up to 3.

Thanks everyone for the input and thats right I dont want to have to hold up my TX in a photo.
Look at mine you need a licence to operate it alot of the guys at clubs I go to have the odd 14 channell High tech TX's.
Then they pull out a Raptor 30 and thats all they own so that needs half the channels they have at hand and have used 1 space with 29 models to go.

I am rambling on sorry:roll:

anyway thanks again the RDS8000 is what Im getting
Cheers,
